The city of Porec is nearly 2000 years old and is situated directly on the Adriatic Sea. Porec has an historic city centre and a beautiful boulevard. The Roman and Venetian buildings are still in very good condition. The Basilica of Euphrasius dated from the 6th century AD is the most famous building of Porec. In the city of Palu you can visit the temple of Augustus and the Roman amphitheatre. So there is plenty of culture whilst on your camping holiday in Istria!
